Fisherman’s Nowruz

Fisherman's Nowruz is a precious tradition practiced by the people of Qeshm Island and is close to fading away. This ancient tradition has its roots in Iran’s history and is a method of calculating periods of time such as days and months, specific to Iranians. Experienced old sailors, who are fully familiar with this nautical calendar, continue to keep the tradition alive. The documentary Fisherman’s Nowruz aims to highlight the significance of this tradition and its impact on the lives of the people of Qeshm Island.

HalaBaMa

The story of a group of animals who live happily in a jungle called “HalaBaMa” away from any violence. The sweet events in the life of each animal are the story of each episode the purpose of which is to promote moral virtues and the spirit of group activities and cheerfulness in children.

Refinery

During the course of Iraq’s imposed war against Iran (1980-1988 AD), a group of the employees of Iran Oil Company decide to remove the packed instruments from all the warehouses of Abadan Oil Refinery when the city was under siege and successfully do it. By doing so, these ordinary employees become heroes who save all the country’s refineries from closing down.

ESFAND

In January 1983, the atmosphere in the country is bitter. The young commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Susangerd, Ali Hashemi, who is on the boundary of the Iran-Iraq conflict, tries to instill hope in the people and commanders. He is continuously on the move, moving locations in order to untie the knot of people’s issues and the conflict.

End of Silence

“End of Silence” is a documentary about the epoch-making event of the 15th of Khordad 1342 AH (June 5, 1963), which marked the beginning of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. This documentary introduces the prominent martyrs of this movement and the effects of this uprising in other important cities of Iran.
